PLAY THE PROSPERITY GAME
Introduced by Abraham Hicks, The Prosperity Game, is a fabulous technique to manifest abundance. It is simple to do and will aid with your visualization and help you become a manifesting magnet for prosperity. You will receive a check from the Universe every day and you must spend the amount every day. I have adapted the game with several variations, so, you can decide what works best for you.
START TODAY TO MANIFEST
Each day there is a new sunrise and a new opportunity for you to start over. If you feel stuck, examine the story you believe about yourself. That story can be changed. You may have some mistakes in the past, but, learn from them and rewrite your story. When you do the internal work and self-assessment, you can begin to manifest with your intentions. Today begin to end cycles and have a new way of being.
“I am so pleased and honored to be me.”
When we feel anxious, it is because we are not living in the present moment. Stress or anxiety is fear based. We worry about what “may” happen in the future or we have regrets about the past. We cannot change the past, learn from it and move on. We can prepare for future, but, we cannot control everything that will happen in our future. There is no power in worrying.
This video introduces five ways to release anxiety.
1. Gratitude is the best attitude. Next time you are feeling anxious, write down ten things that you are grateful for. This will help redirect your thoughts.
2. Deep Breathing – Practice abdominal breathing. Inhale to the count of five. Pause to the count of three. Exhale to the count of five. Do three times.
3. Affirmations. Words are powerful. A favorite quote of mine from James Allen, “All that we achieve and all that we fail to achieve is the direct result of our thoughts.” Try this powerful affirmation. I AM puts you in the powerful vortex of energy with Divine Intelligence.
I AM Invincible Protection.
4. Heart Massage – Learn this stress releasing tool. Our heart area is a place we carry our stress and anxiety. Massage it, just like you would any part of your body that is hurting.
5. Find your happy place and visualize that you are there. Maybe is it a favorite spot in nature, a vacation, or just spending time with your children.
Try to find one or two of these that work for you. Begin using one of these tools, so, the tool becomes a habit.
How do you handle anxiety?

We all have some tasks or chores that we dread to do. It maybe you worked all day and are exhausted, but, your family is waiting for you to cook dinner. Or it a beautiful Saturday morning and you would love to play golf, but, instead you must mow the grass. Can you think of a time something similar applied to you? Usually the problem is we do not stay in the present moment. Our minds are racing to the future and wishing our time could be spent in another way. There is a secret to doing dreaded tasks mindfully.
The secret is just that: do the dreaded tasks mindfully. Stay in the present moment and give it your complete attention. The jobs will get done quicker and you could find peace and solace in the present moment. We can spend so much energy resisting instead of surrendering.
Surrender to the present moment do not resist it.
When my boys were young, I was starting up a business. If you have ever done that, it takes more time and more money than even the most conservative business plan projected. The boys school was 30 -40 minutes from my office. After working all day, I would rush to pick them up, silently hoping that I would not be the last Mother at pick up. Then I would drive home and make dinner. I dreaded cooking dinner. I was tired and just wanted to relax.
My spiritual teacher at the time suggested I turn that cooking time into a time of prayer and meditation. Instead of dreading and resisting, figure a way to make it relaxing and contemplative. So, on Sundays, I would sit down and plan all the menus for the week. I challenged myself to try new recipes and I would go to the store and buy all the groceries needed. In time, it worked. Cooking dinner was relaxing and meditative to me. To this day, when I have had a crazy day, I love to cook a meal.
The other day I was speaking with a family member and I inquired about her parents. They just had a huge snow storm late in the season. She said her Dad was happy for the snow because it gave him one more chance to shovel the long driveway. Instead of dreading what could be an unpleasant task, he relished the solitude and considered it a meditation. He would shovel zig zags and other designs in the snow instead of shoveling straight boring lines.
There is a wonderful little book titled, “The Practice of the Presence of God” by Brother Lawrence. Brother Lawrence was a monk in the Carmelite Order in the 1600’s. He disliked cooking and being in the kitchen. Well, as you could probably guess, that was his job, to wash dishes. Brother Lawrence, felt he was just as close to God while in the kitchen as when he was attending mass in church. He spent his time while washing dishes in prayer and communication with God.
We are all creative human beings. Next time that dreaded task needs to be done, think creatively on how to make it a special, meditative time for you. Find solace in the situation and surrender to the moment.
This is a from I book I am writing on dealing with fears. This is Chapter One, Discover Your Gold Mine.
We carry a gold mine with us all day long. It is at our disposable whenever we want to access it. Would your day have been different if you knew you had a gold mine with you? Our gold mine is our sub-conscious mind. It never sleeps, it does not judge and has no ego. It oversees our organs. It is what keeps us breathing at night. It never sleeps. The sub-conscious mind is our imagination, our intuition. It is what is aligned with God, Infinite Intelligence or the Universe.
Our mind has two spheres: the conscious and sub-conscious mind. The conscious mind is our ego. It is that chatter that we hear in our head all day long. Most of the chatter is negative. It is the sphere of our human mind that sees life as it is. It sees death, disaster, sickness, and limitation. It is that voice in your head that says: “You really think you can be successful? You are not good enough.” The conscious mind rules logic, judgement, and reason.
The conscious mind is the “Gate” to the sub-conscious mind. Whatever your conscious mind chooses to believe and focus on, the sub-conscious mind will accept it and bring it to pass. This is fantastic news because you can choose your thoughts. You can choose thoughts of limitation, fear of failure, fear of poverty, or fear of being alone. Or, you can choose thoughts of love, happiness, or abundance. This is your gold mind because if you learn to control your thoughts, you can change your life. Your mind does not control you.
Have you ever had a problem to think about before you went to sleep at night and in the morning, you knew the answer. This happens to me if I lose something. I will think about it before I go to sleep and in the morning, I know exactly where to find it. This is your sub-conscious mind at work during the night. It is open to a source much greater than ourselves. It is our Infinite Intelligences.
Your sub-consious mind it the book of your life. You have the power to rewrite the blueprint of you mind. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Man is what he thinks about all day long.” This is one of the most important principals to conquering your fears. You can and will learn to expect the best.
The conscious mind is the mind of the body. It remembers all our victories and our failures in this lifetime. It sees restriction. The conscious mind grows old and dislikes change. That is our ego. The sub-conscious mind is the mind of spirit. It sees endless possibilities. It has no limitations because it is aligned with God.
Think of a garden. It is filled with beautiful flowers, but, sometimes weeds grow in your garden. You have the power to water the seeds of peace, harmony, love and health in your garden. Also, the power to pull out any weeds. By learning to control your thoughts, you can reap a harvest and control your fears to move confidently in life. You can pull out the weeds of fear and limitation.
“By first becoming aware of my thoughts, I can learn to control them.”
What would you like to bring into your life? What flowers would you like to water and grow? Write down three things you would like to bring into your life.
What weeds would you like to pull out of your life? Write down three fears you would like to remove from your life.
During the day, when your thoughts become fearful, try to remember the three “flowers” you would like. Imagine the happy ending or solution to your fears.
Remember, our thoughts become things.
Affirmation – I am not my thoughts.
You are an incredible human being with many talents and excellent qualities. Our ego tries to tell us otherwise. When the ego begins go talk to you today, say today’s affirmation.
Spend a few minutes relaxing, then, get out your journal. Draw a large circle that will represent your mind. Draw lines from the circle and write some thoughts from your day. What was your mind telling you today? Were the thoughts mainly positive or negative? If there were negative thoughts, write a positive thought next to it. Remember we are beginning to program our sub-conscious mind with thoughts of possibilities.
What could you have done differently today to control your thoughts? Did you remember to use your affirmation?
Do not be hard on yourself, change will take patience and time. First comes awareness and then change.
Pick one positive thought and write it on an index card. Put it next to your pillow. Before you go to sleep tonight, silently say it to yourself.
Expect the best!
This week, I was finally able to venture out. It has been about four weeks since I broke my foot and had surgery. Other than doctor’s appointments, I have been inside my house. The sky never looked so beautiful and the fresh air felt wonderful. I felt like a child experiencing things for the very first time. Out of every challenge we have, there is always a blessing and a silver lining. Finding the blessing, may not always be apparent at first.
With every challenge in life, whether it is with relationships, career, financial or health, we can make the decision to grow and become stronger and happier through it or we can become bitter, angry and resentful. The choice is up to us. Challenges will come in life. They do not just happen to “those people” over there. They come to you, your family and friends. Try to find the “gift” in the challenge. It could help you become closer to God. It could help you find a spiritual practice that will allow you to soar to new heights. It could slow you down and force you to find your Inner Voice and Inner Strength.
With the four weeks that I was confined to my house, I was forced to slow down. I took up some hobbies that I use to enjoy and found they brought me joy. I read and watched Netflix. I had one dear friend come over every week and bring lunch. We spent time just talking and visiting. My sister and her husband fixed me dinner every night and did all the countless things I was unable to do.
The kindness I received was incredible and there was a blessing in that. It helped the healing process. When I did go out, the kindness from strangers was amazing. Strangers that I may ordinally just passed by, now smiled at me and my crutches. People wished me well, opened doors for me and gave encouraging words about healing. It was a blessing to feel so much love.
The next time you face a difficulty, try to find the blessing. We are not always dealt a perfect hand, but, we do have a choice on how we deal with it. Find the strength and grow from every challenge.
Have you felt the intense energy of the past few weeks? It seems to me that the year has started with a bang. Many things have not gone exactly like I had planned or had hoped they would go. Several of these circumstances are beyond my control. I cannot control the circumstances, but, I can control my thoughts and my reactions to the situations. And you can too. You have the power to control your thoughts and the ability to focus on solutions instead of problems. So, this week, we are going to try “The Happy Thoughts Challenge.”
It can be old habits that have us first react to problems with negativity and fear. These are lower vibrating energies that can stop manifestations and solutions. If we keep our thoughts happy and positive about a challenging situation or problem. We vibrate at a higher energy and connect with our Inner Self. Our Inner Self is connected to Divine Intelligence and that enable us to find solutions.
Fear and worry will spiral into more fear and worry. Shut the door on them and focus on God where the problem is. Say NO to fear, stop it in its track. When fear sets in, repeat simple affirmations like the following:
God is love.
I am surrounded by Divine Love.
God is guiding me now.
There is no power but God.
Another tool is to imagine the problem already solved. Of course, be flexible as to how it would be solved. Picture yourself and visualize how you would feel, how you would look, and how your life would be with the problem solved. Think positive, happy thoughts and that is what you will attract.
The Happy Thoughts Challenge
This week, pick one problem, one challenge or one circumstance in your life that you would like to change. Then pick one day this week to change your thoughts about the situation. Instead of fear or worry, substitute one of the affirmations listed above. Also, spend at least 10 minutes visualizing the problem solved! At the end of the day, journal about how you felt doing this challenge. If you felt a difference, try it a second day.

The recent presidential election has divided the United States. On both sides, there is a lot of anger, negativity, and resentment. It was a negative campaign and that negativity is surrounding all of us. We have a new president and that we cannot change. What we can change is our energy. We can be the light instead of the dark.
Have you noticed feeling tired? Irritated? Difficulty getting started on tasks and difficulty to complete them? Or maybe some of your relationships are changing? This is all a result of the negative energy surrounding this election. Whether you are aware of it or not, it has effected all of us.
Our energy can be like a mirror to reflect the negativity and anger OR our energy can be a shield to send out love and light. We have a choice. You have a choice. Be the answer to spread love and light instead of continuing the darkness. If you choose to be the light, you are needed now more than ever. This is important work.
When your mind begins to intellectualize, think of God. The God that created you, loves you and guides you. This is your defense in conflict and in peace. Just say the word “God” or “Love.” That will help you remain in the light.
Spend a few minutes in silence imagining God’s beautiful white, dazzling light surrounding you.
I have also found this short prayer wonderful. Let us all say it daily.
Dear God, In the Name of the “Mighty I AM Presence,” we call your Light and Love into the White House, into the National Capital, into the State in the Union, into the Hearts and minds of all politicians to produce Perfection NOW; and bring everything into Light’s Victory of Divine Love. Amen
Be the Light! I feel this is an important message and I hope you would consider sharing it with friends and on Social Media.

“Triumph Over Fear: Turn It into Confidence”
The way of abundance is through our words because they manifest into our lives. We are conditioned and brought up using phrases. Some of them are so ingrained into our sub-conscious mind that we may not even be aware of them. “Too good to be true.” “You have to work hard for your money.” “Money does not grow on trees.” “My luck won’t last.” “I am desperately looking for a new job.” Do any of these sound familiar?
Most of the time, we are not even aware of using phrases like these. The tape recordings in our minds are programmed for many years. But, once you become aware of your words and thoughts, you can begin to change them.
The examples I gave above will positively, absolutely manifest into your life, if you believe them and if you say them enough. Your wish is the Universes’ command. Instead of the above phrases, how about the following:
I am fully equipped for the Divine plan of my life; I am more than equal to the situation.
God works in unexpected and magic ways. I have perfect confidence in God.
I do not limit God by seeing limitation. With God all things are possible.
I am fearless in letting money go out, knowing God is my immediate and endless supply.
The above sentences help to put your confidence in God. With prayer and gratitude, you can change your beliefs and increase your faith. To believe is to have faith a thing is true. In the beginning a thing is belief, and if held to, it because faith. Believe and have faith in God’s invisible supply. Do not depend on only the visible supply of this Earth.
Recently, a friend of mine needed money for his son’s college tuition. For many months, he would complain how broke he was and that he had no money. He felt that he would only have the money for the tuition, if he could sell a property he owed. He was limiting his beliefs and the power and magic of God. Of course, the property did not sell and he was unable to pay the tuition. His wish was granted!
Start today to attach yourself to God. Let your wishes be granted in magical, unexpected ways.
