Our lives are like a pendulum when things are good, we are happy. When a problem enters our life, the pendulum swings the other way and we become negative. By practicing self-observation, you will live your life without labels, judgments and without reactions. The pendulum will stay in the middle so it is not good or bad. You will surrender to the flow of life. Learn the technique of self-observation for self-acceptance.
Our daily lives are filled with providing our basic needs: food and shelter. We wake up, go to work, and accomplish our to-do lists. Most of our concentration is in our outer, exterior world. We can get caught up in our goals and demand that certain “doors” open for us. When was the last time you went inward and connected with your soul and with Divine Intelligence? Do you trust in Divine Order?
Take the Vertical Route
We were all born with a life purpose to fulfill. When you are engaged with your purpose, your life feels gratifying. You wake up refreshed and eager for the day to begin. If this feeling is missing in your life, perhaps it is time to connect with your soul. It may be time to reach for your higher power, contact with a higher form of wisdom. It may be time to take a more vertical route.
Trust in the Universe. Trust in Divine order. Release your specifications and trust that your life is moving in the right direction. Of course, you must act, but, if the road curves or changes direction, trust the new road. Surrender your timeframes.
Help if Available, If You Ask
If not sure of the direction, ask! Divine Guidance is available, but, you must ask, not just wish or desire. Ask in prayer. Ask in meditation. But, you must request and listen for the answers, go deep into your soul, and the answers will come. Trust and have faith.
Prayer will connect you with Divine Intelligence. That is your vertical route. Have faith and connect with your soul daily. Prayer will put you in a state of grace and allow you to remain in the present moment. “Doors” will open, though they may not be the “doors” you so desperately wanted.
Release control and ask for help. Have faith and trust in Divine Order.

This blog is about a journey to develop willpower that I am embarking on, and I would like you to join me. But, first the background of how the journey started.
Recently, I celebrated a birthday and as I normally do, I journal to reflect on the past year. I also write about my goals and desires for the coming year. The week before my birthday, I attend a cocktail party. Summers in Florida are hot and uneventful. Most of my days, I wear spandex athletic pants and tee shirts. However, for this party, I needed to wear a nice dress. That was the moment, I knew this next year, some things needed changing. I tried on three dresses that did not fit. Finally, a very forgiving dress fit with sphanx. So, maybe I was uncomfortable, but, that was perfect because it would remind me not to eat everything offered to me.
I realized I had lost my willpower concerning what I was eating. Because I wore mainly work out pants that stretched, it was simple to deny the enviable. Usually, I am disciplined about my work and my meditation practice, but, I understood that willpower was missing. On my birthday, I committed to myself, that in this next year of my life, I would lose weight and get in shape again.
I write about our thoughts and how we can master them. Well, time for a new challenge for me. I need to not only think, but, to act. My will was weakened by my failure to act. I was ready to bring my will to full capacity.
To do this, I downloaded an app to keep track of my calories. I decided to stick with about 1200 calories per day. I also committed to not have any wine during the week. Some days that is painful, but, I am sticking with it. I also signed up for “Camp Crunch” at the gym. Going to the gym the past year for me has consisted on me spending 30 minutes on the treadmill daily. Almost like my body would not move beyond that point.
“Camp Crunch” is brutal. It is a small group one-hour class lead by a trainer. It is like Cross Fit. The first week, I barely was able to do two classes. I’m in my fourth week and up to five classes a week. I feel so good from the workout and the fact I have kept my commitment. The weight is not coming off as fast as I would like, but, I can wear clothes that did not fit a few weeks ago.
The amazing thing is the carryover of this increase in willpower to other avenues in my life. I look forward to the workouts and feel proud and in control. I am getting stronger and stronger both physically and mentally, and it feels great.

Living with a grateful attitude will help your entire well being. There are many evidence-based studies that prove being grateful will help your physical health, improve your sleeping and increase your self-esteem. Also, being grateful will help you lead a more mindful life and increase your intuition. You can get a gratitude high vibration! With your vibration higher, it is easier to manifest what you would like. You are more in tune with Infinite Intelligence.
Does this sound too easy? It is easy, but, old habits can be hard to break without a conscious effort. We can get in a bad mood, and before we know it, our lives seem boring or seem like nothing it quite right. In the list below are ten different ways to bring on the gratitude vibration. Commit to picking one or two and do them on a weekly basis. Just reading about it, will change nothing. You need to practice gratitude. So, why not get started today? Within a week, you will have a smile on your face and feel great.
1. Gratitude Jar – Get any size jar and decorate it. Use ribbons, paint, colorful stickers, or whatever your imagination comes up with. Next cut, small pieces on paper that will fit in the jar. Every day write one thing you are grateful for and put it in the jar. When you are feeling low, take out a few and read them.
2. Gratitude Rock or Shell – Find a rock or shell that you treasure. Maybe find one at a place you love to visit. Keep in on your desk and every day, while you look at it think of something you are grateful for.
3. Gratitude Box – Similar to the gratitude jar, buy a beautiful box or use one that you already own, then begin filling it with those grateful notes.
4. Gratitude Collage – Grab a bunch of magazines or photos and images from the Internet that depicts things you are grateful for. Family photos or vacation photos can also be fun to use. Either paste them onto a poster board or put them into a journal. Keep it where you can see it often.
5. Meditation – Find a comfortable place to sit, close your eyes, relax, and spend a few minutes reflecting on the many blessings you have in your life.
6. Worksheet – Get a sheet of paper at the top write I AM grateful for……. Write down ten things on the list.
7. Grace – Before meals say grace. This will not only raise your vibration but, also raise the vibration of the food you are eating.
8. Rampage of Appreciation – This was developed by Abraham-Hicks. Look around your immediate environment and notice what please you. Hold your attention and focus on the positive qualities. Your feelings will increase the longer you can hold your focus. When your good feeling is strong, pick another object for your positive attention.
9. Gratitude Letter – Write a thank you note to someone that will be surprised by the letter. Author, John Kralik, wrote thank you notes for 365 days and it transformed his life.
10. Mirror Work – Look in the mirror and thank your body for supporting you every day. Be specific.
This list will help you get started, but, do not just read it. To raise your vibration, you must put it into practice.
In order to manifest with the Law of Attraction, you need a strong will power or else you may have the will to think, but, not to act. You need: will to direct, will to control, will to imagine, will to push your mind and creativity upwards. This video will give two ways to build a strong willpower.
