3 Tips When Feeling Overwhelmed

Do your days seem to go from one crisis to another and then before you know it, it is time for bed? When was the last time you laughed or had fun? Do you feel a tightness in your shoulders or chest? If these sound familiar, you are most likely need these 3 tips when feeling overwhelmed.

3 Tips for When Feeling Overwhelmed

1. Take the time to plan your week. – Spending just a few minutes over the weekend to plan the week ahead. Jot down your intentions and goals for the week and your to-do list. When you look over your list, is there anything that can be delegated to someone else? Remember to plan some time for recreation. Take control of your schedule. I call this self-management instead of time management. Become the master of the ship of your life. I use an Elephant Journal that I purchased on Amazon and it has helped me tremendously. If you add anything to your list for the week, think very carefully if it is necessary.

2. Meditate – Spend just five minutes first thing in the morning meditating. It will set the tone for your day. Think of it as “re-clothing your spirit.” It will help you make clearer decisions during the day and help relieve stress.

3. Focusing – This is an exercise called, “Clearing the Space.” I want you to listen to your body and how you are feeling. This exercise provides clarity to know which situations need your attention the most. Maybe some of the issues can stay on the shelf.
3.1. Find a comfortable place to sit, close your eyes and ask yourself,” How am I right now?” Pause and find the answer by feeling the sensations in your body, not your head.
3.2. Ask yourself, “What is between me and feeling fine right now?” Is it work problems, a dirty house or you are feeling sad?
3.3. Without judgment say hello to the feeling and imagine putting it on a shelf across the room.
3.4. Repeat the above steps until nothing else comes up.
3.5. Next ask yourself, “Which of these issues am I most drawn to today?” Listen to the whispers in your body to learn what needs your attention.

Create A Magic Circle to Honor Yourself

If a stranger came to your door unannounced, would you let them in the house? Probably not. Negative thoughts and words need to be treated the same way. Put a lock on them and shut them out from your life. Imagine having a Magic Circle around your thoughts and only you decide what thoughts or words enter or leave your Magic Circle. Just like deciding who is welcome to enter your home. Learn to STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN before you speak. Start today to create a magic circle to honor yourself.

You can control your thoughts and words with a watchful, determined effort. Our words are magnets. They go out into the Universe and return to us. If you want to change your life, you must change your thoughts and words. Now, I am saying you can do this, I am not saying it is easy. You have years and years of bad habits to break. But, if you will STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN to your words, you can change negative thoughts to positive ones and see tremendous changes in your life.

Every time you are tempted to make a negative statement, judge someone, criticize someone or gossip, remember to STOP. LOOK, AND LISTEN. Change those statements. Believe that you have the power to create the life you want, and it begins with your words and thoughts. Start guarding your Magic Circle just like you put a lock on the door to your home.

When you start this work do not day after day or week after week ask, “How can I do this? Or “Why aren’t things happening like I want.” Trust in Divine Order, guard your words and thoughts and do not give power to “why,” “when,” “where,” “how,” or “what.” Believe in perfection and know that if you do your part, the Universe will respond.

Start today to give power to this new momentum!

Four Ways to Raise Your Vibration and Your Frequency

Everything is made of energy. Everything is in motion: from our bodies to the smallest atom or molecule. Think of the frequency of vibration like a scale that goes from the highest vibration of spirit to a lower vibration of a rock. Even our emotions or other people’s emotions can affect the vibrational level. By raising your vibration and frequency with these four ways, you can gain control of this power and that is how miracles occur.

1. Positive Thinking – Learn to become the observer of your thoughts. Pay attention to them without attachment. For negative thoughts, acknowledge them, dismiss them and turn to something positive. Even a short phrase: God, Happy, Love.
2. Eat High-Frequency Foods – Putting toxins into our body does affect our vibrations. Electromagnetic waves are measured by a Hertz. Our bodies when healthy are 62-72 hertz. Colds occur at 57 – 60 hertz and disease at 58 Hertz. By eating foods with higher frequencies, we can raise our vibrations and help to stay in the 62 – 72-hertz areas. Fresh foods like vegetables and fruits have are 20-27 hertz. Processed foods have 0 Hertz. High energy foods include veggies, fruits, herbal teas, nuts, and grains. Low vibrational foods include white rice, white flour, processed foods, soda, meat, and caffeine. I am not saying to stop eating these foods, just try to limit them. Of course, clean water has a high vibrational quality.
3. Limit Time with People That Bring You Down – The signs that someone is bringing you energy down include: feeling drained when with them, headache, or a tight feeling in the chest. Try to be around positive, higher vibrational people. If you cannot, protect yourself by creating a buffer zone of white light around you as an energy shield.
4. Meditate – Return your mind to its natural state of peace. You may just uncover some treasures. Even ten minutes of silently sitting in the morning and concentrating on your breath can have amazing effects on your day.
